The following are some of the great things God has done in our church family in the last quarter:

First Quarter, 2012

 

January

Over 60 Teens at last minute outreach event on Jan 16th

Completed our C-Group Leader Training and began C-Group sign ups for this year

Russian dancers performed and over 300 people in attendance to Cornerstone

Blood Drive

Plans underway for Easter Egg Hunt/Spring Carnival Outreach in April

Between 40-50 people helped undecorated the church

 

February

Ministry Fair at the end of February to promote ministries

22 New Volunteers signed up to help with Children’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry has a new co-leader, Joyce Burk

New meal ministry coordinator: Jill Hecker

Planning continues for March Easter Egg Hunt Outreach, hundreds volunteering

40 people attended church night of prayer to pray for each ministry and needs

Teen Bible study began in addition to teen meetings on Sunday nights. Bible study also started in school (Madison High School) every other Thursday.

 

March

17 new teens attend Ignite our teen ministry

Hosted a community Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Carnival and had at least 3000 people come to the event

Had a number of families visit the church as a result of the Egg Hunt

100 volunteers from our church helped with event

20,000 Easter Eggs given away

Over $2,000 donated from community businesses for Egg Hunt event

Madison Fire Department and Madison Township Police partnered with our church and helped with event

Our congregation donated over 200 prizes to be given away at the event

Visitors: 31 first time, 13 second time, 6 third time visitors

$400 shy of making budget this month (on a month with three payrolls!)

 

April

4 New Adult Classes Started

5 New Members after Membership Classes

Had 478 in attendance on Palm Sunday

Easter Sunday service was full! Over 700 people!

65 people came forward to commit lives to Christ

New leader for Berrie Beth Boutique, Jill Hecker. Word is spreading and new volunteers being recruited

Joint Good Friday service with 250 people with St. Anne’s Anglican Church

85 first time visitors, 19 second time visitors, 4 third time visitors, 21 fourth time visitor

Hosted fundraiser: auction and Battle and the Bands for local family in need.
